Manor Farm

 Vicarage Lane Project

INTRODUCTION

TF Energy recently embarked on an ambitious project in the Bristol Area as part of the Bristol City Leap initiative under the HUGS1 scheme. The project involved the transformation of the heating system at Manor Farm House, where outdated heaters were replaced with modern

storage heaters. The installation aimed to improve energy efficiency, reduce electricity costs, and enhance heating comfort for the property. TF Energy's expertise in renewable energy solutions and commitment to sustainability made us the ideal choice to execute this forward-thinking

project.

THE CLIENT

Manor Farm House, situated in the Bristol Area, sought to upgrade its heating system for greater efficiency and cost savings. The client recognized the potential of storage heaters, which utilize off-peak electricity, such as Economy 7, during the night to store heat in the

bricks. By releasing the stored heat gradually throughout the day, the property could enjoy

consistent and comfortable heating while significantly reducing electricity bills. With TF Energy's reputation for delivering innovative solutions that align with the Bristol City Leap initiative, the client entrusted us with the task of upgrading their heating system.

THE PROBLEM

The existing heating system at Manor Farm House was outdated, resulting in inefficiency and higher electricity costs. The client faced the challenge of finding a sustainable and cost-effective heating solution that could deliver consistent warmth throughout the property.

To address these issues, TF Energy proposed the installation of modern storage heaters, leveraging their expertise to ensure seamless integration and optimization of the new system.

THE SOLUTION

TF Energy's solution involved the replacement of outdated heaters with modern storage heaters at Manor Farm House. These storage heaters utilized off-peak electricity during the night, capitalizing on lower tariffs, such as Economy 7, to heat up and store the heat within the brick cores. Throughout the day, the stored heat was released gradually, providing a

consistent and comfortable heating experience for the property's occupants.

The installation was executed with precision, ensuring optimal heating distribution and efficiency.

By leveraging the benefits of off-peak electricity and storage heating technology, the client experienced a significant reduction in electricity bills, making the storage heaters more cost- effective in the long run. The upgraded heating system not only enhanced energy efficiency but also contributed to the property's sustainability goals, aligning with the Bristol City Leap

initiative's vision for a greener and more environmentally conscious future.
